Nehru College of Pharmacy celebrated International Women’s Day on 7th March 2026 at 10:00 AM with great enthusiasm and participation. The program was organized by the Women Empowerment Cell and NSS Unit in association with IQAC to honor the achievements of women and to promote awareness about women’s empowerment.

The event was conducted under the theme “Give to Gain,” highlighting the importance of contribution, support, and empowerment in achieving personal and societal growth. The program witnessed the active participation of faculty members, students, and staff of the institution.

The chief guest of the program was Dr. Sony Vijayan, Principal of Nehru Academy of Law. In her inspiring address, she spoke about the role of women in shaping society and emphasized the importance of confidence, education, and leadership in empowering women. She encouraged students to recognize their strengths and to contribute positively to society while pursuing their professional goals.

The program served as a platform to acknowledge the contributions of women and to motivate students to work towards gender equality and empowerment. Faculty members and students actively engaged in the session, making the event both meaningful and inspiring.

The celebration reflected the commitment of Nehru College of Pharmacy towards promoting gender equality, leadership, and social responsibility among students.
